June 2009

Time is flying by as usual, and I felt I must write a short note here to let you all know that Vintage to Victorian is still alive and kicking, but is more of a 'window' to promote the stock I have on offer at Dairy House Antiques

We have just experienced a record month of sales at Dairy House, which makes us all question where the credit crunch is biting. Certainly not on the Wiltshire/Dorset border, that's for sure.

If you are planning to drive along the A303 or A30 en route to your holiday destination this summer, do please take the short detour to visit us at Dairy House. There are 18 dealers, plenty of goodies to browse from 17th-20th century furniture to mid 20th century vintage textiles and decorative items, beautiful paintings, books, rugs and all sorts of other interesting bits and pieces.

If you are looking for a particular item which you think may be for sale at Dairy House please email to sm.meager@tiscali.co.uk and I will be glad to check my stock and that of the other dealers.

As you will have realised, I have begun to concentrate more on fabrics, lace and haberdashery, and I've noticed a distinct upturn in the number of ladies popping in to see the array of fabrics, buttons, buckles and lace! Do remember that most of my stock is now on display at Dairy House. I currently have a good supply of single eiderdowns, priced between £35 and £65 and a few Welsh blankets.

I shall be at the Shepton Mallet Giant Flea Market on Sunday 21 June, all being well. Inside as usual, so hope to see you there!

Thanks, as always, for your support!

Sue

Vintage to Victorian offers a range of English and Continental Eiderdowns, Quilts, Linens and Textiles, combined with Kitchenalia, Bygones and other Useful and Collectable Items.

As the name implies, Vintage to Victorian covers most items in the shop, but occasionally I come across interesting or exciting pieces that extend beyond the margins of the title. I'm sure when you see them you won't mind!

I'm always happy to source items for customers but please remember that vintage and antique items are not mass-produced and consequently not available on repeat order. However, if you are hoping to find a similar item
please email ... I do enjoy a challenge!

Thank you for visiting!
