The whitework and punchwork is exquisitely executed, and the case is in tip-top condition apart from  one tiny mark which I anticipate should come out with further laundering (click on the top photo for a magnified image). A lovely addition to a vintage bedroom.

Pretty vintage Continental cot sheet measuring 36" x 78", machine hemmed top and bottom, with the addition of purple binding stitched 2" down from the top across the full width.  The side edges are unhemmed selvedges.
 
If you wish to use this colourful lightweight cotton length for other projects, the only needle/stitch marks are at the ends, giving an immediate total viable length of fabric of 75½" with no faults. To give you a better idea of the proportions, each helicopter body is approximately 2" x 1" and the balloons are 1¼" x 2".

Art nouveau design handstitched quilt offering a different fabric design on each side. The super quilt which is in excellent condition for its age is ready for immediate use, having been washed and line dried (on one of our few sunny days of recent weeks!).

The quilt will lie quite comfortably on top of a double or king size bed, or will drape over the sides of a single. One side gives a slightly more faded appearance, but this is over the whole area. The colours on the other side have slightly more depth. The quilt has a beautifully soft 'wrap-around' quality to make you cosy and warm.

Pair of Dorcas cotton twill sheets 80" x 100" still tied with original ribbon and with the remains of the cellophane wrapper. Handwritten measurements and price of 49/11 (£2 9s 11d) on the wrapper. There are storage marks on the folds of the sheets where the cellophane has disintegrated, but I anticipate that even if these do not totally disappear after the first wash, then they will continue to fade with subsequent laundering and not pose a problem.

One of a pair of heavyweight large SINGLE eiderdowns in near perfect condition. Both eiderdowns are particularly plump and have no marks, stains or imperfections that I can see.  I am offering these separately (see also SW-04) but will obviously combine postage costs if the eiderdowns are purchased together. Each eiderdown measures a generous 45" x 66" plus 1" edging.

The background colour is a rich honeycomb/caramel colour with paisley swirls of terracotta, rust, mustard and green. The posies are similar in colouring, filling cameos of white and soft sky-blue.
